Day 01 Nairobi - Mount Kenya
Drive northwards through the farmlands of the Kikuyu people to reach Mount Kenya and the small town of Nyeri in time for lunch. In the early afternoon drive through the forest to your tree hotel where the night is spent high above the floodlit waterhole and saltlick. Frequent visitors are elephant, rhino, buffalo and the giant forest hog. Overnight at your tree hotel.

 

Day 02 Mount Kenya - Samburu
After breakfast flank Mount Kenya and descend into the dry and rugged semi-desert where Samburu National Reserve is situated. Harsh but beautiful this reserve harbours many species of animals not found in the more lush parks to the south. Afternoon game drive with dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge or similar

 

Day 03 Samburu
The day is spent exploring this reserve. You will almost certainly see the graceful reticulated giraffe, Gravy's zebra, elephant and the oryx-perhaps the origin of the legend of the unicorn. Overnight at the Sarova Shaba Lodge or similar.

 

Day 04 Samburu - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru stopping en-rout for a brief look at the magnificent Thomson's Falls where the waters of the Ngare Naru cascade in a sheer drop of 73 metres. Lunch at Nakuru before visiting the world famous bird sanctuary and National Park where the sight of the million or more flamingo has been described by Sir Peter Scott as, "the world's greatest bird spectacle". Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill or Similar.

 

Day 05 Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
Leave Lake Nakuru after breakfast with picnic lunches. Afternoon game drive in Masai mara.

 

Day 06 Masai Mara

Masai mara full day. Dinner and overnight at Serena Lodge

Day 07 Serengeti
Depart and Cross the Kenya/Tanzania border Serengeti after breakfast arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti  

Day 08 Serengeti
Full day in Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 09 Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Morning game drive in the Serengeti and lunch. After lunch proceed to Ngorongoro via Olduvai. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 10 Ngorongoro
Full day crater tour with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa or similar.

Day 11 Ngorongoro - Tarangire
After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Reserve. Arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon depart for Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa lodge or similar.

Day 12 Tarangire - Arusha - Nairobi
After breakfast leave for Arusha. Lunch . Leave for Nairobi with 2.00 pm shuttle, arriving Nairobi in the evening.
